GALLERY TOUR | Saturday, NOVEMBER 9th, noon - 1:30 PM
Live Performance & Writing at Bergamot
Bergamot Station Arts Center is, rightfully, internationally recognized for its numerous world-class art galleries, presenting a diverse and pluralistic overview of contemporary visual arts. However, there are several spaces at Bergamot that present art based on live performance, as well as one that explores the process of writing, which is at the heart of so much of both live theater and the cinematic arts.
On this weekend’s tour, we will visit three exemplary spaces at Bergamot: two that present live theater and comedy, and a third space that focuses on storytelling in the form of screenwriting. We will meet the people behind these spaces and hear about their current and upcoming productions, as well as their process in selecting and producing work.
