A diverse montage of the creativity and strength of Traditional and Contemporary Female Photographers, juxtaposed against each other with profound impact, by the very nature of this Nineteenth through Twenty First Century medium.

This exhibition will celebrate extraordinary photographers such as Diane Arbus, Alex Prager, Berenice Abbott, Dorothea Lange, Lillian Bassman, Graciela Iturbide, Barbara Morgan, as well as experimental works by Susan Rankatitis, Carolyn Marks Blackwood and Brigitta Rohrbach. 

This extraordinary exhibition will run concurrently with the Frieze Art Fair at The Barker Hanger the weekend of Saturday, Feb.18 and Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023. 

Bergamot Station Arts Center has planned an amazing weekend of curated walk throughs, cocktails, live presentations and a reason to celebrate art. Galleries will be open late to welcome guests, collectors, visitors and art aficionados.
