Join artist Karley Sullivan as she discusses her ambitious project Satellite Hand, a series of one-hundred forty-three, 5 x 7 inch scratchboards depicting each of the named moons of our solar system. A selection of fifty-three moons of Saturn culled from Satellite Hand are currently on view in the group exhibition, GRAVITY. An additional selection from the project will be on view exclusively during the artist's gallery talk.
KARLEY SULLIVAN received her BFA in Drawing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, TN and is an MFA candidate in Photography and Media at CalArts. Raised in and out of a commune in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, the artist currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
